Moving day – just a few more hours to go!

The big day has finally arrived! Just a few more hours and you’re done.

Satisfied customers and a quick, painless move – these are our priorities. To make that happen, we need to work together. Below is a list of things to remember if you want your move to go smoothly and without unnecessary stress. If your move is still weeks away, start with our guide on how to plan your move.

At the loading address

Please reserve a parking space for our truck, ideally as close to the entrance of your old home as possible.

• When the 123Przeprowadzki team arrives, our team leader will go through the plan and details of the move with you. This is the best moment to share your own ideas about how the move should go.
• Protect the floors and any fittings in the home you are leaving, as well as in your new one. You can use cardboard, newspaper or offcuts of floor covering.
• Have a rubbish bin ready, especially if there is a lot to pack.
• Read and note down the water, gas and electricity meters.
• Remove your name plate from the front door.
• Leave the property clean and tidy.
• Draw up a handover report together with the owner.
• Don’t forget to arrange the return of your security deposit.
• Before you hand over the keys, check that nothing has been left behind and the cellar is empty, switch off the main electricity fuse and make sure the water and gas valves are closed.

At the unloading address

Reserve a parking space so that nothing gets in the way of unloading.

• Tell the movers where you would like the furniture and boxes to go.
• Read and note down the water, gas and electricity meters.
• If anything is damaged, tell the team leader straight away and record it in a written report.
• Sign the report confirming that the move has been completed.

After the move

That’s it! Now comes the best part of the job (although some say it’s the least pleasant): opening the boxes, unpacking and arranging everything just the way you like it.
